A Call for Climate Action (or "act on climate")

We are at a crossroads. The facts are clear. Change
General climate caused by human activities, sometimes threatening
the lives and livelihood of billions of people and the existence
millions of species. Social movements, groups
and environmental scientists worldwide call for
urgent and radical action for climate change.

On 30 November 2009, governments around the world come to
Copenhagen for the 15th conference on climate UN
(COP-15). This will be the largest summit on climate change
that never happened. Previous meetings have produced nothing
other than trade agreements, as usual.

There are alternatives to the current trend that emphasizes
false solutions such as approaches based on the economy
market or ethanol. If we put humanity before
benefit and solidarity over competition, we can
have fulfilling lives without destroying the planet. We must
leaving fossil fuels underground. In its place, we must
invest in renewable energy controlled collectively.
We need to stop over for a binge. Each
must have equitable access to common property by controlling and
sovereignty collective energy, forests, land and
of water. And of course, we must acknowledge responsibility
history of the world elite and rich countries in the North
triggering the crisis. The equity between North and South is
essential.

Climate change has an impact on people,
especially women, indigenous peoples or those living in
forests, small farmers, communities and marginalized
neighborhoods. All call to action for
social justice and climate. The appeal was launched by
activists and organizations from 21 countries came together to
Copenhagen the weekend of 13-14 September 2008 to discuss a
mobilization at the Copenhagen summit on climate Nations
United in 2009.

On 30 November 2009 is also the 10th anniversary of the collapse
of the World Trade Organization (WTO), which shows the power
social movements coordinated at the global level.

We call on all peoples of the world to mobilize and act
address the causes of climate change and key people
As leaders in Copenhagen and around the world. This
mobilization begins now, up to the COP-15 and after
yet. The mobilizations in Copenhagen and around the world are
still under state planning. We have time to decide
collectively their appearance and begin to visualize what
could be our future. Get involved!

We encourage everyone to mobilize in today
your own neighborhood, community. It is time to resume
can. The hope is not only sensible, it is
